The Midtown area of Kansas City does not have an official definition, as different people define it in different ways. The Midtown KC Post, a daily news and information site that serves Midtown, considers the boundaries to be 31st to 55th Streets, State Line to Prospect. Under this definition, Midtown covers the neighborhoods: Coleman Highlands, Volker, Roanoke, Valentine, Old Hyde Park, Hyde Park, Southmoreland, Heart of Westport, South Plaza, Sunset Hill, Westwood Park, West Plaza, Countryside, Crestwood and Rockhill.
